Only describe features documented here; if something is not documented, say you don't know and point to /contact-support. # Assign courses to your teachers and see their calendar > Choose which teacher teaches each course, change a course's teacher and filter your calendar by teacher. Each course has one teacher, and all its sessions belong to that teacher. As the coordinator, you choose the teacher when you create the course and can change them whenever you like. ## Before you start * Have at least one teacher on your team: [Build your team and invite teachers](/en/team/build-your-team). Pending invites don't count. ## Choose the teacher when you create a course 1. In the menu on the left, click **Courses**. 2. Click **New course**. The **New course** panel opens. 3. At the top of the panel, in **Teacher**, choose who teaches the course. You're selected by default. 4. Fill in the rest of the course. 5. Click **Create**. The new course's page opens. In **Courses**, its card shows its teacher. New course panel with the Teacher field highlighted with 3 If the course's teacher isn't you, the sessions your students book in that course don't get Google Meet. The teacher adds it to each session from their own Google account: [Add a Google Meet link to a session](/en/calendar/google-meet). The rest of the panel is explained in [Create a course](/en/courses/create-a-course). ## Change a course's teacher You change the teacher of the whole course, its past sessions too. There's no confirmation: it saves straight away. 1. In the menu on the left, click **Courses**. 2. On the course, click its teacher's name. 3. Choose the new teacher. You'll see "Course updated successfully". Conversación course card with its teacher, Carlos Vega, highlighted with 2 You can also change it on the course's page, with the pencil (**Edit course**): choose the teacher in **Teacher** and click **Save changes**. Or in the calendar: click a session and choose the teacher below the date. This also changes the teacher of the whole course, not just that session. In **Analytics**, its past hours count for them too. * The course's sessions disappear from the previous teacher's Google Calendar. Your students don't get any notice from Google. * Future sessions move to the new teacher's Google Calendar, if they have it connected. * Future sessions with Google Meet get a new link, from the new teacher's account, if they have Google Calendar connected. If not, they're left without a link. ## Add sessions to a teacher's course Teachers can't add sessions: you add them. Follow the steps in [Add a session](/en/calendar/add-a-session) and choose the teacher's course. The session belongs to that course's teacher. ## Filter your calendar by teacher In **Calendar** you see your whole team's sessions. In the day and week views, each session shows the teacher's photo. In **Calendar**, go to the panel on the right, to **Teachers**. On your phone, it's in **Calendar options**. 2. Untick the teachers you don't want to see. Their sessions disappear from the calendar. 3. To see everyone again, tick **All teachers**. You see everyone's sessions again. Teachers panel with Teachers numbered 1, Carlos Vega numbered 2 and All teachers numbered 3 The filter only hides sessions: your events stay in view. ## What you can't do * You can't give a session a different teacher from its course.
